Does Sococo integrate with any tools?
While Sococo has all of the chat and video conferencing functionality you’ll need, we understand that some companies rely on tools like Slack, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. That is why we fully integrate with Slack, so you can send and receive Slack messages without clicking out of your Sococo Workspace. We are also compatible with video conferencing tools like GoToMeeting, Google Meet, Zoom, Teams and more–you can launch a meeting on any of these platforms directly from Sococo.
What is needed to come to work in Sococo?
All you need to come to work in your Sococo workspace is an internet connection and an up-to-date Chrome web browser. You can also download our desktop app (available for Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux) or our mobile app to take your team with you when you’re on the go.
Can I invite guests into my Sococo Workspace?
Bring clients, collaborators, or consultants into your Sococo space at the touch of a button. Guest links are shareable invitations to Sococo that allow your guest limited access to your online Workspace. That way you can get all the perks of holding a meeting in Sococo without having to add another team member to your space.
How can I connect with my team in Sococo?
Coming to work in Sococo allows you to work alongside your team as if you were physically in the room. You can see where your teammates are, if they’re in a meeting or if they’re available for chat with one glance at the map. Pull them into a room and toggle on your in-room video and audio conferencing to talk through projects face-to-face, or send a chat message to an individual teammate or the whole Sococo room.
How much does a Sococo Workspace cost?

How is Sococo different from other solutions like Skype, Zoom, Slack, and others?
Video conferencing and chat solutions may allow you to communicate with your teammates, but they don’t allow you to connect. Communication via these tools is often asynchronous, overly structured, and formal, whereas working side-by-side in your online Sococo workspace allows you to collaborate in real time, hold ad-hoc meetings, and get to know the people you work with around the virtual water cooler. Sococo easily integrates with Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams so you can bring them into your Sococo instance and get the best of both. Can I come to work in Sococo from anywhere?
Yes! You can come to work in Sococo from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a Wi-Fi connection. Whether you’re in Bali or Baltimore, you can jump into a breakout room with anyone on your team.
How many teammates can I bring to work in Sococo?
You can bring as many teammates to work in your Sococo online Workspace as you’d like. We have a variety of online office maps available with different room capacities, so you can build one workspace or an entire virtual building to make room for everyone on your team.
How long will my trial last and how many users can join me during the trial?
You can try Sococo free of charge for 14 days and you are limited to 25 users during the trial. If you need additional time or user seats to complete your evaluation, please email email@example.com.
What office tools will I need when I bring my team to work in Sococo?
You can easily integrate your Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams account and use them with Sococo. If you don’t have those tools, Sococo offers video and audio conferencing options*, chat, and at-a-glance insight into what’s happening in your organization–all while allowing you to truly work side-by-side with your remote team. Everyone receives up to 500 minutes per month per user of Sococo’s video/audio conferencing. If you have more than one user, your minutes will be pooled together and if you still need more minutes, you may purchase additional time.
Do I have to be working remotely to come to work in Sococo?
Nope! Whether your team is located in the same office or on different sides of the country (or some combination of the two), coming to work in Sococo will help your team boost productivity, engagement, and company culture. [Also, technically, if you work with someone sitting one or more bus-lengths away from you, you are part of a distributed team. Just saying.]

How does Sococo work?
Sococo brings students and teachers together in an online classroom with your video conferencing tools all in one place. Teachers and students are represented by avatars in the Sococo classroom map. You can move from room to room by clicking on the map. Start a video session using the links at the top of the map. Sococo is the easy way to bring everyone together for class.
How does it simplify video conferencing?
You can integrate Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams and designate persistent video links specific to a classroom. You won’t have to send invites or remember different links for different times. Just initiate the video link and all the students in a room can accept it and join the video call.
Can I integrate the collaboration software we already use at my school with Sococo?
Yes, Sococo easily integrates with Zoom, Webex, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
Can I record our Sococo classroom sessions so students who miss class can catch up asynchronously?
If you use Zoom, Webex, or Google Meet and your accounts have recording enabled, you can record the lesson/class session and then share with students for viewing later.
Can I choose how to visually set up my school’s map?
Yes, choose from several different school layouts. For an additional fee, we can create a customized layout for your school.
Not all my students are well resourced at home. What is needed to come to school in Sococo?

*There is no charge for integrating and using your Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams accounts. Sococo also has its own video and audio conferencing tools. Each paid seat in a Sococo office is allowed up to 500 minutes per month usage of the Sococo video and audio conferencing & screen sharing tools and if you have more than one paid seat in your Sococo office, all user minutes are pooled. If you go over your allotment, you may also be required to purchase additional minutes for continued usage of Sococo’s video and audio conferencing tools & screen sharing tools during that time period. All trial users are given 500 minutes usage of Sococo’s video and audio conferencing & screen sharing tools during the 14 day trial.
